Onovis was originally formed in early 2025, but the company traces its start to long before the first product was offered for sale. Onovis was born of an idea and a passion. The founder of Onovis has had a life long love of the outdoors, in particular the mountains. Those high mountain passes, snow covered peaks, and secluded mountain valleys always called to the founder of Onovis. A love of the open spaces and the outdoor life style was the at the center of the formation of the company.

Onovis is a brand that is focused on the shared passion for the outdoors. It is a brand that is for outdoors lovers of all kinds. Regardless of if you are a hunter, a fishing fanatic or you just enjoy spending time in nature, Onovis is a brand that supports your love of all the wild spaces.

The name “Onovis” is a combination of two words “On” and “Ovis”. The “On” in Onovis is a play on the term “on the sheep” refers to having success finding and following sheep in the wild. “Ovis” is the genius for wild sheep such as the bighorn and the Dahl sheep. These sheep as well as the animals others found in the mountains are symbolic of love for the mountains.

Onovis is a company started by outdoor enthusiasts, that want to share their love of the wild spaces with others that enjoy the outdoors as much as they do. The primary goal of the company is to build a community of outdoors lovers that share a passion for the mountains and wish to share their love for all to see.
